Class: Intro to Weaving
Kate is coming up from Ashburton to kick-off weaving at HQ! Learn how to weave a scarf from an expert, while learning tips and tricks on how to utilise a loom properly.
"Learn to warp and weave on a rigid heddle loom. Learn the simple and quick way to warp a loom, all the weaving basics and weave your very own scarf."
**Please note, this class will run under Alert Level 1 and Level 2.**
Date & Time: Saturday, 31 October from 1:00 - 4:00 pm in Outlaw Den (at HQ)
OR Sunday, 1 November from 1:00 - 4:00 pm in Outlaw Den
Prerequisite Skills: None, but a good attitude is encouraged
Taught Skills: How to Weave!
Materials to Bring:
- 100 g of DK weight wool for weft AND 100g of DK weight wool for warp. (If you want to purchase it in store: 2 skeins of Bohemia Worsted OR 4 skeins of Bandit DK)
- Snips / Scissors
- Tape Measure
